The pigeon toes...snooze.
ReplyDeleteAw I hope your energy and sew-Jo return. Can't wait to see the good stuff.
IKR @ pigeon toes. I really don't get it, unless you're legitimately pigeon-toed!
DeleteLol. love your lists.
ReplyDeleteHope the sewing mojo returns and your energy.
Thank you!
DeleteHope your energy returns quickly and that your sew-Jo does soon after.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to work and figure out what I am taking away for a sewing weekend.
Thank you! Oooooo...sewing weekend. That sounds like fun!
DeleteI'm curious what your definition of "good blogging" is....like how often?
ReplyDeleteSo for my #mmmay15 photos, one of my photographers (who is not involved in the world of home sewing) suggested I stand pigeon toed so I guess it's a thing generally?
Hmm. Good question; I don't have a definition. Ideally I would like to blog at least as often as I complete a project or to share what's on my sewing mind.
DeletePigeon-toe standing appears to be a thing. I actually searched the internets about why people stand pigeon-toed. Some of the reasons pointed to enhancing the gap between the knees and thighs. I can stand pigeon-toed for life and will never have thigh gap. LOL
Not to be one of those people, but if you haven't been to a doctor lately, I'd suggest possibly getting your thyroid checked. Your symptoms (fatigue, weight gain) sound suspiciously like the ones that I was ignoring when I found out that I had a thyroid disorder via bloodwork ordered during a routine physical.
ReplyDeleteYou're not being one of 'those people'. *hugs* =) I'll email you privately.
DeleteOh no! No sew-jo? I hate when that happens. Mine is back, but I also have gained weight. It discourages me from sewing because I don't want to use good fabric on garments that won't fit when I lose weight. Then again it isn't happening. I hope it turns around for you soon. Treat yourself well!
ReplyDeleteI SOOO understand. I picked up weight too and it definitely sends the sewjo packing. When that happens, I revert to TNTs and knits.
DeleteHi L, I hope you are okay. Sometimes we sleep because we are actually living in the fast lane and have a sleep debt to catch up on. That's quite common in our culture. But yes, you could have a problem with thyroid, or mood. You probably know yourself well enough though to know whether what you are feeling is on the normal or abnormal spectrum for you. Sorry about the weight gain, I know how hard your work to keep that off. Maybe treat yourself kindly (no bad talk, not even bad blogging talk), and ease back into sewing when the semester ends. Hug too.
ReplyDeleteI think my over-sleeping is due to stress; in fact, I'm almost certain of it. I will commit to working on the bad talk. *big huggums*
DeletePraying for your Sewjo to return.... I know a lot about bad blogging. And, you are doing way, way better than me. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHey Audrey! It's good to see you back again!
DeleteOh you are in a bad way aren't you. Sending hugs from down under. Hope your sewjo flojos soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hugs BeaJay! Hugs right back at'cha my friend!
DeleteThank you. Aaah...memories!
ReplyDeleteI really need to get on this computer thing. I've been dragging my feet for two years!
