Do I have plans for all of these lovelies? Of course...just as I have plans for all of the other lovelies. Putting those plans into motion is another thing.
Moto jacket update: Still no zippers!! Arrrrgh. I ordered them on Sunday. They're supposed to be here tomorrow.

You have "my" stretch twill and the black & white double knit!!!! :-) See, that was when I was trying to keep my resolve!
ReplyDeleteI won't be doing that again! lol!!! Beautiful fabrics you have there. Love those ITY knits too!
I thought I saw that double knit somewhere before. =) I'm diggin' the knits too.
DeleteBeen there...still there...refusing to leave. Their knit sales kill me and my wallet every time. I am running out of room to store my lovely stash in.
ReplyDeleteHeh. I like your first statement. That pretty much explains all my fabric buying habits. =)
DeleteGood thing I don't live in Maryland anymore.............................Then again maybe not.
ReplyDeleteFabric stores anywhere can be weak spots! Hmm... =)
DeleteGreat haul - LOVE that mustard check ITY - very cool indeed
ReplyDeleteThe pattern was bigger than I thought, but I like it too.
DeleteYes, this is a seriously wickedly fabulous haul. What gorgeous fabrics you can get over there...Love them all. Look forward to your zippers arriving...
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou would need to be very strong to resist all those lovelies. How lucky you are to have such gorgeous fabrics available.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy. I definitely don't need any more. In fact, I think I need to do a big de-stashing.
DeleteI know EXACTLY what you're talking about... I promised not to buy any more material (except lining etc for a project I"m actually working on) about 2 months ago. So far, I've only broken the promise once, and I've actually used one of the two pieces I bought that time. I've also made about 6-8 items (I actually lost count) but the last two were wadders. I'm working on a top at the moment from remnants that are actually too small, so I'm piecing them together to try to make big enough pieces to cut the front and back of a top. Hopefully the pattern on the fabric is big enough that the seam lines won't show... or maybe I'll disguise them somehow.
ReplyDeleteI know me well enough not to promise not to buy any more fabric. =) I can go fabric-lite, but a full fast? Um...no. Granted, my buying has decreased dramatically over the years. This year, I count six times where I bought several pieces of fabric at once. Hmm...yes six. That's a HUGE decrease in buying.
DeleteWadders can definitely kill the sewjo. I've had quite a few this year. Hopefully we'll both end the year on good sewing notes.
PS. This http://www.veronicatextiles.com.au/products/m_32302903_cw_5597x5_cw2.jpg is the fabric I'm working with at the moment. It's (hopefully) going to be the lower part of McCalls 6435 View A, with the top section in aqua sheer mesh.
ReplyDeleteOooo. This is quite pretty. I'd like to see how this plays with the aqua sheer mesh. I think the aqua will play with the other colors in the fabric quite well.
